How to Become a Sponsor

Macomb County Habitat for Humanity offers many sponsorship opportunities. We are always looking for partners to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity home, or a Macomb Habitat event.

Adopt-A-Home: $85,000-$100,000:

The Adopt-A-Home program allows groups to provide all the funds and volunteers necessary to build a house. Typically your organization provides approximately 15-25 volunteers for each of 12 workdays (or as many as you want to cover) who will work alongside a future homeowner as they build their Habitat house from the ground up. We know that groups vary in physical and financial resources and we're happy to work to identify partnership opportunities or to create a specific volunteer and funding program for your group.

Partner Sponsorships: $15,000, $20,000 or $30,000:

Your organization contributes one-fourth to one-half of a full sponsorship fee and partners with another corporate or faith-based sponsor to build the home. Volunteer requirements are defined by the partnering groups.

A Brush With Kindness Home Sponsor: $3,000:

A Brush with Kindness is a neighborhood outreach program offering painting, landscaping, attic insulation and minor repair services for qualifying low-income homeowners. ABWK Home Sponsors will see a big impact in a short time as they transform a home in disrepair. For a volunteer group, this means connecting with one family in need and helping them remain in their home, while also improving the surrounding community. ABWK targets a Census Tract of several blocks or nearby streets to serve low income families, seniors, veterans and others who want to remain in their homes but cannot do repairs on their own.

Adopt-A-Day: $1,000-$25,000:

The Adopt-A-Day is a great way for your service club or business group to join hands together on a project. It allows groups to participate in an exciting day of team building on a Habitat home. Habitat provides building materials, training and supervision.
