Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness. Habitat was founded in the belief that every man, woman, and child should have a decent, affordable place to live where they may dwell in dignity and safety.

In Macomb County, we have a serious housing situation. Currently, hundreds and hundreds of hard-working families are living in unsafe, substandard housing with little or no hope of change. And, almost 30 percent of those people are children. Macomb County Habitat for Humanity is working hard to improve this troublesome statistic.

We invite you to join with us in a partnership of families, volunteers and sponsors as we build homes, hope and community. With your help we can make a difference. We can tackle this problem--one family, one house at a time.
